What is some advice to living on your own?

Im going to be transfering to a University next year and Im going to get my own apartment. I just want a lil heads up about the cons %26amp; prosWhat is some advice to living on your own?
The biggest problem you'll have is your expenses. Things like toilet paper, food, and other things that you would normally take for granted, cost money. I know that is self explanatory but you'll be amazed how much that affects your money.

The pros are everything, except for that! What is some advice to living on your own?
Friends can often be a problem as well. They have a tendency to turn up, stay, eat, use power, but they're your friends so you don't ask them to leave, but it can sometimes be a mistake. It's expensive enough being on your own but as soon as you have to start supplying food and essentials for other people it's nearly unaffordable for a student. Just make sure they don't take advantage of your hospitality.

Also be aware of what damage is caused, you'll find yourself paying for repairs on things you haven't even used, but someone else has and therefor you can be held accountable. In some respects it's not too much different from being at home.
Good for you!

I moved out on my own about 3 years ago. Its nice to be able to do what u want whenever u want but just be aware that theres alot of stuff you will need to buy.... Soap, shampoo, conditioner, dish, soap, laundry detergent, toothpaste, deoderant, toilet paper, paper towel and so on and so on..... be prepared.... :)
