Recently, I lost my license and I am in the process of getting a duplicate. If I get an interview before my duplicate comes would they deny me employment?Could I get another massage therapists or business owners advice?
In this case, I would say that you can get the job. This is because the key is that you actually HAVE a license. As long as you can prove that you are in a good place. Most states have a website where you can search massage licenses, for instance, in Arizona it is http://massagetherapy.az.gov/directories.asp. Look up your name and make a copy for interviews to show that you have it.





What may happen is that you cannot start until you have the paper license, because depending on your local law, they may have to have a paper license to show a client. I personally, would be happy with you looking it up on a smart phone. :) I hope this helps.
