I am reading and hearing alot about Hillary Clinton looking to the Ohio, Texas, and Pennsylvania primaries to secure delegates, but I think that is a mistake, it failed for Rudy(by focusing on Florida), if Obama keeps winning the smaller states leading up to the bigger states, Clinton may not have enough momentum to win those big contests when they come up. Am I wrong, or is her plan actually pretty smart? Thanks. Is Hillary Clinton taking advice from Rudy Giulliani on how to run a campaign?
I agree, I think this spells disaster for Clinton. It is identical to Rudy's tactic which was due to his lack of finances. I think between her 5 million dollar loan and this new tactic it is evident that she is running out of money. Being a Republican I hope she does win because that spells victory for Republicas, she is simply unelectable. Is Hillary Clinton taking advice from Rudy Giulliani on how to run a campaign?
No, she's taking advice from Billybob.
No.
She didnt take a 40 million dollar Florida vacation..
9-11! the terrorists! 9-11! the terrorists!
Their is some sense to your arguments, but with so many states left, i think in some way or another, you have to focus on a few states
I think Giuliani never intended on running anyway, he just showed his face for media attention. Hillary and Bill or dirty anyway, I doubt she is just acting like Giuliani, you can bet her and Bill have spent a load of money, in the right places to get votes, and as for as loaning herself 5 million... yeah sure lol. She just found a way to steal campaign funds from her self to put in their foreign bank account. The Clinton's are always covering up funds in one way or another, in every Clinton campaign, there is always campaign fraud. I hope she falls on her face, we do not need more Clinton in the White House.

Can you think of advice that proved especially helpful to you? What was it, and why was it beneficial?
After Moses led Israel out of Egypt, his father-in-law Jethro brought Moses wife and children to join the rest of the Israelites. He stayed for a visit and observed Moses at work. quickly he saw that the sheer volume of the work was overwhelming Moses. Jethro suggested that Moses appoint sub-officials to settle disputes, reserving only the most difficult cases for himself. Moses recognized the good advice, and acted on it.Can you think of advice that proved especially helpful to you? What was it, and why was it beneficial?
Well, there were so many. I remember one specific advice that was actually very beneficial to the Church because of the change that this advice did to me personally. I had backslid from the Lord for over 20 years when I decided that I couldn't live my life without Him anymore. I was very bold and on fire for the Lord and He raised me up in the Church very quickly. There was one problem though and that problem was that I'd caught the eyes of more than one brother. I couldn't figure it out until I'd asked my pastor why I was having this problem. He said, very embarrassingly and humbly, ';have you ever considered maybe dressing differently?'; We were talking on the phone and I got very quiet. Finally I said, ';Oh, my gosh I can't believe you said that. Thank you so much.'; I was somewhat embarrassed but I also knew that he was right and when I look back at that I realize that that was a part of me that had to change if I really loved the Lord and the Church. Later my daughters told me that they love the way I dress now over the way I used to. Praise the Lord and God Bless. Mizpah! Can you think of advice that proved especially helpful to you? What is the best way to persuade people to donate? Need good advice?
I want alumnus to donate to the college I attend. How do I persuade them? What is the best way to get them to?What is the best way to persuade people to donate? Need good advice?
The best way to pursuade is to make them feel good about the reasons behind it.
I donate to causes that I have a personal affenity for - I know where the money is going, what it is going to be used for and that ultimately the world will be a better place for it.What is the best way to persuade people to donate? Need good advice?
See if you can get the faculty to organise a day off or something.
If you offer them something for their donation they'd be foolish to refuse (or so they think).
If it comes down to it you could just make cupcakes and sell them.
You have to convince them that it is for a good course.

I can give research advice for any subject, how and where to contact for job vacancy?
With my research knowledge of creativity, imagination and skill development it is possible to invent in any subject such as Arts, Physics, Education, Business, Neuro-science,
Engineering and anyoher subjeccts.I can give research advice for any subject, how and where to contact for job vacancy?
Hi Syed,
You CV looks quite good, I would say you need to focus on one area rather than all and later when you have established your credentials you can diversify your portfolio. This will establish you as a consultant who already has a strong footing in specific fields. Coming to the part of where you can look for an opening is, you need the prepare a well chopped out CV and register with all major job portals like Yello Jobs etc. Offers will start pouring in once you do this.
Cheers!

Please help me with advice for losing weight for my holiday in 5 weeks?
Hi, im 5ft 5in and size 12/14, 2 years ago i used to be size 10 and feel that was right for me.
Im off to Cyprus in 5 weeks and would love to lose some wieght by then, preferbly to get me down to my perfect size 10 but even just a start would be great.
Thanks for your help! Please help me with advice for losing weight for my holiday in 5 weeks?
When you are losing weight, you should exercise and diet together.
If you exercise without dieting, you will get bigger appetite, which
will lead to increase of weight, or muscle grow
underneath the fat layer, and make you bulkier. If you diet without
exercising, you will become flabby and will have excess skin. For
diet, go wheat free. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on. And no food
after 7 p.m. People achieve marvellous results with it. Depending on
your initial weight, you can drop upwards from 20 pounds a month. If
you don't eat wheat then you don't eat all those sticky, fatty goey
cakes, you don't eat junk food, and you don't eat biscuits. But your
diet is still balanced. It costs nothing, and you do not have to
calculate points or to buy special meals or plans. For exercising,
start with walking, and then switch to running/jogging. Running is the
most efficient and calorie-burn exercise ever. If you are overweight a
lot, walk first or you may have health complications (heart attack,
disjointed bones and so on). Weight lifting is a good means to target
your problem areas for men and women. It's not necessarily to become a
bodybuilder or even join a gym - a couple of dumbbells will help you
to target your problem areas (stomach, butt, legs, arms, chest). Please help me with advice for losing weight for my holiday in 5 weeks?

My computer monitors power button has been flashing, and refuses to show a picture. Any advice?
It has been flashing in .5 seconds between amber and green. I had read somewhere that it could be in suspend mode. However, I don't know how to get it out of this. I've tried unplugging the monitor, using it on different computers only to get the same results. It flashes even when it's not hooked up to a computer. I've experimented with the wires, but not changed anything. Does anyone know what I can do?My computer monitors power button has been flashing, and refuses to show a picture. Any advice?

How do people make money on websites where nothing is sold? They just share advice, etc.?
I've always wondered that, like craigslist, or gossip sites, or where people just talk, how do the people who start the sight get rich? How do people make money on websites where nothing is sold? They just share advice, etc.?
They will sell advertising space. How do people make money on websites where nothing is sold? They just share advice, etc.?
its all about the adds....more interesting stuff = more traffic....more traffic = more money from adds....its kinda a job...u work hard 2 get traffic....i wish i could start 1 :D
something HAS to be sold. it's advertisement. advertisements bring potential buyers. for example, i will get paid for putting the following link down:
http://x.vu/555
Someone will go there, become my referral, and I will get paid for that because some of those referrals are bound to buy something from who I am referring them to.

Can anyone who had babies 14 months apart or around that give me any advice?
my son will be 14 months old when i have my 2nd baby.
is there any advice anyone can give me or tips when you have babies this close, i have no idea what to expect.
i don't even know what a 14 month old does as my son is my first baby. Can anyone who had babies 14 months apart or around that give me any advice?
My children are 15 months apart. In some ways it is hard to have them this close but in some ways it is better. The best advice I was given was to get them both napping at the same time.I tried to do that from the start and it really helped since I had some time when they were both asleep. One of the good things is that your older child is still napping so even if the baby isn't asleep at the same time you still get a bit of a break. Make sure your older child is sleeping through the night before the baby comes along (we did cry it out because I was so tired from the 2nd pregnancy I needed a good nights sleep!) You won't have to worry about jealousy since your oldest will be too young, he'll just accept it and soon forget he didn't always have a younger sibling!
Other than that you just have to get through it! The first year is hard then it gets easier all the time. Mine are 2 1/2 and 3 3/4 now and I think its great that they are that close! I have friends with a 3 year old just about to have a second and I don't envy them at all!
People asked me before my 2nd was born how we were going to cope (we don't have any family around) and my answer was that we'd have to cope because there wasn't another option!
Good luck!!!Can anyone who had babies 14 months apart or around that give me any advice?
i don't know that i can count this as advice, but my 2 middle kids are 14 mo's apart. For the most part, it wasn't that bad, going to the grocery store was an experience--but you'll get used to manuevering 2 shopping carts at the same time (one for kids, one for groceries). Invest in a good double stroller. I had a side-by-side umbrella stroller, which was good while they were still fairly small, but it made it difficult to get through some store aisles. I eventually bought a sit-and stand stroller which was great. When i brought home my new baby, my son would often try to get in the bassinet with her. And when she got older and was in the crib, i would often wake up in the mornings to find him in the crib with her. I think one of the main things to remember is that the 14 month old is still a 'baby' himself so try not to expect too much. Try to keep his routine as normal as possible and let him touch and kiss the baby. Everything should be fine.
he will be into everything when you are occupied with the baby...jk...he will want to help you as much as he can. include him as much as possible while you are pregant to help with the jealousy when the new baby arrives. When the new baby comes home, have him bring you diapers, wipes etc. anything to help out. Don't be surprised if your breast feeding the baby and he wants to also, just let him know that the milk is for the baby only. He will want to curl up with you and snuggle as soon as you sit down or will want your attention the minute you are busy with the baby. this will go on for a few weeks but once he learns that the baby isn't ';leaving'; he will improve. All is normal for his age and that age spread. As they get older, they will be close and yes, they will fight, but they will be close. Especially when he figures out what all he can teach the new baby and blame them. Then you have to watch out as they will gang up on you and try to drive you nuts. It can be stressful, but enjoy it as they grow up way to fast.
Well, I have twins and that's pretty close in age. :-D
My twins are going to be 14 months old and they're doing a lot of walking, playing with toys, exploring around, etc. My advice is to set up an area for your son that is completely safe and baby proof where he can play unattended if necessary while you tend to your baby either changing diapers, laying down for naps, etc. I have to do things independent of my twins at times and it really helps having a safe place for them to play which is gated off and with nothing at all that they can get injured on.
Another bit of advice I have is to see if your partner will take over nighttime parenting your son after your newborn is born. Your son might wake up at night again at that age for whatever reason and you don't need to be running in to him on top of dealing with a brand new baby! He might not either. Only one of my twins has had sleep disturbances lately.
I'm having another one when my twins will be 20 months old so I'm a bit worried about how that will work out.
My brother is 14 months younger than me and my mom said it wasn't all that stressful because I was pretty self-entertaining and heck, she breastfed my brother for a year so it must not have been all that hard!
Good luck!
Even though my children are 2 years apart, I found this site http://spiffybaby.com/resources/ which has very interesting and educational articles and advices about parenting.

What is the best audio system advice you can give me about getting the most out of my 2001 Camaro?
Your car has a good design for bass (hatchback). I like to go with a single set of component speakers up front and a single sub in the rear - simple, clean, great sounding, and plenty loud for most people who want good sound. If you are trying to pound, well buy big amps and fit as many subs as you can in the back.
One more thing, get a head unit that has a high output voltage from the RCA jacks if you are going to run amps. High would be 4 volts or more. Many come this way now, as long as you don't buy the cheapest. This will give you a clarity and volume advantage, trust me. Oh, and get an alarm! Otherwise your system may not last long. What is the best audio system advice you can give me about getting the most out of my 2001 Camaro?

Can anyone give me some good advice about starting a business?
My wife and I would love to start a business by making sandwiches for companies i.e. taking into offices sandwiches, crisps, fruit, etc, and eventually selling from a van. But how do we get started, and are there any qualifications needed before we can start? Also what sort of cost would it be to get started?
Any helpful and good advice is required and would be very appreciated.
This has been a business my wife has always wanted to do, and I inturn believe that we both can make it happen, but we need advice, can you help us?Can anyone give me some good advice about starting a business?
Yeah im a Business studies teacher, who also runs a business. A lot of useful advice can be found on the following website www.businesslink.gov.uk that will provide you with all the basic information about how to set up a business. Lots of enthusiasm and confidence will help. However you must really check your figures. will it be worthwhile spending your time doing this than anythingelse? is there a large market for this in the area? what is the competition like? Would offices require this service ?Can anyone give me some good advice about starting a business?
Agree with person above on food hygiene etc - those are a given. and local authority people will generally offer good advice on how to comply.
in terms of the business side, you need to think about putting together a business plan. there is loads of help for people to do this and my advice would be to talk to your bank for one thing and for an independent view go to the local Business Link. they get public money to support people just like you to get your business off the ground. they will have experts who can advise about how to make it successful - website below to get in touch with them.
food hygiene and health and safety certificates you will need these also a licence from your local council. do some research does the area need such a service .do you have a area to prepare the food
I can`t be specific about your start up costs but put your figures together and add 50%, you will not be far wrong.
Enquire at your local college about any hygiene qualifications you may require. If you need anything they will be most helpful.
The most important thing to do of is a sensible business plan.
You need to forecast what`s going to come in and what`s got to go out, down to the tiniest detail e.g. changing the insurance on a vehicle from private to business. This may sound trivial, but it looks good in front of a bank manager plus I`ve seen countless small firms go under due to cash flow problems in the early days , it`s great having a full order book but not if you can`t afford the materials

It sounds like you are frustrated, and I can understand, I was in your position only 2 years ago. It wasn't until I became a financial counselor that I realized the mistakes I was making in my life. You'd be surprised that it's usually not the large bills that take our money every month, but the little ones that add up! I am recommending that you contact my former company http://www.incharge.org I am not promoting myself like that other guy with the link on his page (which appears to be some infomercial) I am truly trying to find a solution to your needs. Don't be embarrassed, as the friendly counselors will walk you through a budget (which can be quite detailed), you could even have them fax it or mail it to you. It doesn't hurt and maybe speaking to a counselor will help you think of things you haven't thought of as they come up with creative solutions to your monthly expenditures. Anyways, good luck with your situation and don't hesitate to ask me any questions!
Sounds like you need to sort out your budgeting to me. You will probably find that you spend too much on areas of life that aren't really all that important. Who knows what it might be until you record, analyse and assess your finances.

Can someone offer me some career advice with arborism?
I've been strongly considering getting involved in a career field involving conservation, trees, nature. I would love to care for trees. This may sound pretty naive, but I have a major fear of heights. I've done some research and it seems that in order to be an arborist it's very necessary to climb trees. I love studying trees, caring for the environment, and being in nature. Is there a field of tree study that doesn't involve the maintenance of trees and where I can still be in the field? Thank you for any advice. Can someone offer me some career advice with arborism?
There must be lots of options for you
For a start - how about the nursery side of things - its very satisfying collecting seed, germinating, pricking out the tiny seedlings and nurturing them - then planting and maintaining them
Another option could be botanist - study of plants and their characteristics
Environmental scientist - management of nature including trees
Forestry worker - working with trees but not necessarily up in the trees
Or the other option is - go see a therapist - to help overcome your fear of heights
Good luck -a couple of website for you with some options for you Can someone offer me some career advice with arborism?

Why do casino employees give the advice that people should keep playing after they just hit a jackpot?
I mean, what are the odds that you're going to hit another jackpot or continue that lucky streak on that or any other games in that same night?
If you ask casino employess what you should do, they'll tell you it's your ';lucky night'; and to go for it.
If they know just how bad the odds really are, then how come they give this bad advice to the person who ';just won big';?Why do casino employees give the advice that people should keep playing after they just hit a jackpot?
The answer should be obvious. Casinos are built to make money, not give it away. They want you sitting at a machine or table, spending that money you just won. People who just win big often bet much higher stakes and more recklessly than they normally would, so if they can keep you betting instead of heading to the bar or wherever, you'll often give most or all of your winnings back to the casino. Why do casino employees give the advice that people should keep playing after they just hit a jackpot?
Because they know which side their bread is buttered on. The longer a person plays, the more money the will lose, and that's good for the casino. It's the same reason car salesmen will always tell you you're getting a good deal.
It's a business, and the friendly employees have specific techniques to keep you gambling just as surely as McDonald's has a certain way to make a Big Mac. If you just won big, you wouldn't feel bad about throwing 10, 20, or 50% of it right back to the casino right? That's what they're going for.
I'm surprised they do that. I'm glad I know that now! I'm going there soon and I will not even think about asking them for advice.

We are about to select our carpet for our new home. Can anyone offer advice from their own experience?
We have been reading about different styles and whether to buy wool/polyester, etc. Does anyone have any ideas from their experience? We have three youngs kids so we're looking for something nice but hardwearing. Thank you, in advance, for your help.We are about to select our carpet for our new home. Can anyone offer advice from their own experience?
This is from selling carpet for 20 years.. Berber( short and tight napped) is good but w/ kids and pets you always have a chance of a snag and pulling a whole row out . Either from a vacuum or a pets nail or Johnnys toy truck. Berbers are also made mostly of olefin which is a natural stain blocker but a softer yarn, Thus prone to matting and crushing in traffic areas. This is why they add nylon mix to a lot of berbers to both get color in and traffic.
One poster said to get the best quality ( they said heaviest) but in carpet now the heaviest isn t always the best, New heat set in yarns now make some lighter weight carpets just as good or better than some heavier weight carpets.. Go by the anti mat anti crush warranties, 15 years or more. This types all will have the stain blockers in them ... Now there is also a new carpets out that will be protected against bleach. But for the life of me I can t remember the name or type of fiber system it is ( I ve been retired for 2 years now and the memory is fading in old age lol)
A multi colored or carpet that have flecks will show less day to day stuff until you vacuum. Not that kids eat their cookies or any thing there lol..We are about to select our carpet for our new home. Can anyone offer advice from their own experience?
Berber is as about as durable as carpet can get for normal use easy to clean also a bit more expensive than standard pile carpet, wool is great but rather expensive and with children think I would look at synthetics.Spend as much as you can on the carpet now you will save in the long run buy the heaviest weight you can reasonably afford and be sure you have a good vacuum They will do more for keeping a carpet in good shape than anything else you can do . Don't skimp on the pad the better the pad the better the carpet will feel and hold up
I bought carpet at two separate places(a later addition) and the first was from the big name home store. Do not buy from them as they have cheap labor that really don't know much, looks terrible because they laid it improperly. The second was great, a carpet place and we bought a carpet that is made from recycled milk cartons, yep, and this thing wears great. It is a light cream and cleans beautifully too. I purchased a dark smoke green for the rest of the house because of dogs and kids, great I think to hide all the dirt. They say to keep carpeting well put more money in the pad, thicker and better quality, also vacuuming the carpet often will keep it up better, as anything.
I would suggest a continuous filament nylon also called a BCF nylon. This will wear longer and be more stain resistant then other fibers.
you can get a soft fiber BCF nylon which is really soft.
http://www.georgiacarpet.com/constellati鈥?/a>
No matter what fiber you get I would suggest a BCF just so it will not fuzz.
Pad is also important a good pad will help with staining.
We have a new product coming soon that I like a lot. If you can wait I can send you samples.

I had a beach vacation RENTAL condo that had great carpeting that lasted 10 years and no one could believe it. It was a very tight weave, tiny looped NYLON pile. It was basically a sand color but with a multitude of tiny flecks of color in it when you looked closely. You could pour bleach directly on it w/ no problem...not that you'd want to. I only had it professionally cleaned one time and most owners do this annually. All i did was use a grocery store carpet cleaner spray can and scrub the noticeable spots or high traffic areas. The carpet was not expensive, I just took some care in making a selection. This carpet may still be in use in my condo, I don't know as I sold it.
Not too dark because that shows up everything, but not to light because that shows wear easily and stains.
Polyester carpet is the happy medium many people are looking for in a carpet in terms of price and quality. It is inexpensive to produce and has some great qualities, but it is not perfect. It is not as strong as nylon, but it is stronger than olefin.
It tends to be very resistant to fading and retains its color for many years. It is also generally stain resistant, with low absorbency. Because of this, it is easy to dry quickly.
The variety of colors is limited because of production limitations in the dying process. Water soluble stains are easy to clean. However, it is susceptible to stains from oils. Oily spills adhere with the very fibers of your carpet, making them extremely stubborn stains if they are not removed immediately.
Environmental concerns affect major purchases for many of us. While polyester carpets are not biodegradable, they are often produced from recycled material and can be recycled after they have finished their usefulness in your home. They are not recycled into carpet, but they can be used to make other items, such as automobile parts.
The first days of polyester carpets gave them a very bad name. Although the new carpet was a dream, it did not hold its shape and high traffic caused serious wear on the carpet in a short time. But new technology allowed manufacturers to produce polyester carpet with a thick and plush look and feel that lasts much longer than the 鈥榦ld school鈥?polyester carpets. However, flattening is still an issue with this type of carpet. This can be overcome by using the fiber in tightly looped carpet, such as Berbers. Of course, the construction of the carpet itself will have a huge impact on the end product. For example, a very dense carpet will have a great deal of fiber creating a thick and luxurious carpet. In a high density carpet, you will not be able to see the backing because of the thickness of the yarn.
While polyester carpets and rugs are not items you will pass on to your children and grand children, they provide functionality and the newer versions provide plush carpets that are practical for many lifestyles and budgets.

Moles!! Can anyone give me any advice on how to HUMANELY rid my garden of moles?
My beautiful lawn is covered in mole hills. Any helpful advice would be welcome.Moles!! Can anyone give me any advice on how to HUMANELY rid my garden of moles?
The moles are being attracted to your yard because there is a food source. Most likely, that source is grubs, weevil larvae, and other types of worms.
The first thing you need to do is get rid of your creepy crawlie problems. While you could apply lots of chemical insecticides, these cause problems environmentally, and to children and pets. If you truly want to be humane to not only the moles but those around you, you can use beneficial nematodes. Nematodes are microscopic worms that parasitize grubs, weevil larvae, and other harmful worms (note: they don't affect earthworms, which are very good for your lawn and would be killed by insecticides).
In terms of application, you want to apply them to moist grass later in the day (4 -7 pm) and make sure that they stay moist for as long as possible. But, you do not want to irrigate or have rain because that is too much water. Instead, what I do is sprinkle the area with the shower mode on my hose's spray nozzle.
The nematodes will provide not only quick results, but lasting results. They will work as long as you keep the conditions right. If you happen to have a drought or something, then you would need to reapply and start the process again.
There are a number of companies that sell nematode products, but many are not worth wasting your money on. I have tried many different ones and found that the best ones are distributed by Becker Underwood in Ames, IA. They ship them overnight to you and because of how they package them, the packs are still cold (before applying, it is important that the nematodes remain cool -- most other companies don't take that much care). While they do not sell them to your common joe, you can call them and they will tell you where the nearest retailer to you is. The type that you will probably need is ';Heterorhabditis bacteriophora'; and it is marketed at Nemasys G.
Good luck!
(By the way, if worse comes to worse and you need to get rid of the moles, you can put unwrapped sticks of Juicy Fruit gum in their holes. They eat it, they get bound up, and they die. I've have never used that because I have always used the nematodes, but my grandma used to have great success with it when I was a kid.)Moles!! Can anyone give me any advice on how to HUMANELY rid my garden of moles?
Dig a hole through the center of the most active runway sufficiently large enough to place a #10 tin can (approximately 7 inches in diameter and 10-12 inches deep) upright in the hole. Be sure the top of the can is level with the bottom of the runway. Fill and pack dirt tightly around the sides of the can, and then plug both sides of the runway with soil right up to the lip of the can. You may also want to stamp the runway about 1 foot on both sides of the can. Lay a board, plywood scrap or other suitable material on the ground over the pit to block out light and prevent pets or children from falling into the hole, but allow you to maintain easy access for monitoring. In reopening the runway, the mole will fall into the can and usually is unable to escape. If the tunnels are not reopened or you fail to catch a mole within 1-2 days, move the device to another active runway.
We have been combating moles for over twenty years at the farm. . . The only thing that has worked for us is buying a roller to pull behind a mower that is filled with water weighing approx. 400 lbs. . . This will smash down the tunnels and help even your yard over time also. . . Another trick is to buy a big bag of castor oil pellets and sprinkle them from the main building outwards over a few day period to repel them. . . And then, we also plant a row or marigolds on the side of the garden that they like to come in, and this has worked as a deterrent for over 5 years now :) The best of luck to you :)
The first thing you need to do is get rid of their primary food supply. Grubs. They are digging up your yard in search of food. Spread an insecticide that is designed to kill the grubs in your yard %26amp; the moles will go to your neighbor's yard. If you wan't more information, type ';how to get rid of moles'; in your search bar.
Moles are attracted by grubs. Grubs live just under to grass roots. I had grubs and moles and put down grub-x and got rid of the moles food and the moles left my yard. I would put down some insect killer in the yard.
Good luck.
A good method is to buy some of those plastic children's windmills which turn in the wind. Stick them in the ground. Moles don't like the sound of the vibrations.
my mother in law just told me that Epsom salt works if you use on of those hose sprayers, I haven't tried it ,,,but I should as my yard is horrible due to the moles too!
I know someone who cuts the bottom off milk plastic milk cartons and puts the top end in the run and lets the cut off bottom stick out of the ground. They swear it works.
What is normally done is a pesticide is sprayed on the lawn to kill grubs! Moles LOVE grubs! Get rid of the grubs and the moles will go away! ;-)=
I believe you can buy a thing that you put in the ground and it sends out sonic pulses that drive moles away.
I use the old fashioned way. Put urine down the holes, if you have a cat put some refuse from the cat litter down the holes.
It does work
Never mind humane ,dig a big hole and bury the buggers alive, that'll teach 'em
caster oil, make a spray and spray away

What is the best diet/fitness advice you've ever gotten?
what are the best ways to lose weight? i know...diet and exercise. but any specifics? does anyone have any great tips or advice on how to make it not such a drag? What is the best diet/fitness advice you've ever gotten?
Hi!
Reading about the Fat Loss 4 Idiots Diet makes you wonder if they might not be on to something. The way the diet works is different than other fad diets that involve cutting out certain types of food like low carbohydrates, low fat or low calorie. Instead it uses calorie shifting foods that you would normally eat, increases the number of times you eat, and changes when you eat certain things for fast fat loss.
What is Calorie Shifting?
The way calorie shifting works involves tricking the fat hormones that are sent out by the brain. Every time you eat something, your brain sends out fat storing and fat burning hormones, depending on what the item is.
The idea is to send more fat burning than fat storing hormones, so that the body does not hold onto the fat for later use. If you keep confusing the metabolism, you will see fast fat loss, as much as 9 pounds in 11 days, that is the first weightloss principle of Fat Loss 4 Idiots Diet.
How Does The Metabolism Control Weightloss?
This scientific weight control fact about the metabolism and how it works stems from our ancestry as cavemen, when there were famine periods between hunts. The body would store and hold onto fat for survival. The metabolism has not evolved from this self-defense tactic and doesn't realize we can just run to the grocery store and get whatever we want.
On restrictive diets, weightloss can plateau when the metabolism thinks it is experiencing a famine period, and it will only burn what is taken in. Even on some of the popular low carbohydrate diets, it is advised to eat pizza for two days when your weight plateaus to get the metabolism going.
Why Do Some Weightloss Diets Leave You With No Energy?
The only problem with many of these restrictive weightloss diets is the metabolism goes back to only burning what you take in and many people complain about being tired and worn down, when it is mainly the metabolism storing up the energy for later.
By eating healthy, nutritious foods that are fat burning, the metabolism burns as much energy as you need. Many people on restrictive weightloss diets will regain the weight when they go back to eating normal foods.
What Is The Best Diet For Weightloss?
The best weight control diet allows you to eat the foods that you would normally eat, have in your refrigerator and cabinets. By timing when you eat certain foods, how many times a day you eat them, and balancing the types of food, your metabolism will burn what you take in and then some, because it knows you will be feeding it again shortly, instead of starving.
Prepackaged fat loss products and frozen dinners are not something you can live on the rest of your live. You need to understand the basics of natural weight control, and Fat Loss 4 Idiots Diet uses the fundamental principles of controlling the metabolism with calorie shifting normal foods you eat every day.

Can I get paid to give advice to people online? sort of like yahoo answers?
I'm going to college for psychology and would like to become an advice columnist. Any suggestions? Thanks. Can I get paid to give advice to people online? sort of like yahoo answers?
From a legal perspective, Yes. So long as you and your client agree to the same terms, you can charge them for your services online. However, you might want to look into speciffic international laws regarding these services as they may differ, or restrict your services to your own country.
From a technical perspective, Yes. It would be possible to set up an online system which allows users to make payments and you can either give them advice via email, a secure web page linked to their account that only they can access, or by another means.
From a business perspective, whilst this system would be possible, I dont think its a very good business idea. I sincerely doubt you will be very successful in getting a decent number of clients willing to spend their money on the service

Where can I find free dieting advice and online support?
I've explored Weight Watchers, South Beach, and other programs. I want to lose 20 lbs, but can't afford to pay an online membership. Healthy foods cost enough as is. Any suggestions for a website with menus that I might follow, along with forum support.....without paying a membership? Thanks. Where can I find free dieting advice and online support?

Expecting my first and looking for advice from other mothers of interracial children?
i'm 26 1/2 weeks pregnant, and i'm curious if you could share your experiences with me. the joys and struggles of raising interracial children. i'm white, and my boyfriend is black, so my daughter will be beautiful, but need some supportive advice.Expecting my first and looking for advice from other mothers of interracial children?
Hi I am Native American and my Hubby is white. We have been married over 12 years and have two kids and one on the way. Honestly, we are a typical family. Just because we have different ethnicity's means nothing, our kids enjoy, know the history and respect both of their ethnic heritages. But they are human first, and we have always said that to them.
I honestly do not know if there are any struggles aside from the normal ones, one has as a mom. I do not live in a small bigoted town or a city that is quite racist. I have never once had anyone say anything to me; other than how beautiful my children are.
As far as advice, people will always have issues, if it isn't race it will be something else..do not let them dictate your life or how you raise your child. It's good that she is proud of both her ethnic backgrounds.
Honestly, there are so many bi-racial children these days, I do not know too many people who have issues that would overtly affect them. Everywhere I go I see bi-racial children, however, I will say that all of my close friends are in an interracial relationship. Only because there are difficulties culturally in interracial relationships.....but as far as raising our kids my hubby and I have never had any major issues, we agree about almost everything (he thinks I am too soft on them at times; which is true), but again after being around couples who are of the same ethnic (both black, both white, etc.) group, I have not seen a difference in our childrens lives vs. theirs.Expecting my first and looking for advice from other mothers of interracial children?
im 22weeks pregnant, and again im white hubby is from the caribbean. there are actually loads of biracial kids where we live, and im sad to say a lot of the women got pregnant just because they wanted black babies. i know quite a few of them. they were shocked to find out i was happily married and never planned what colour my baby would be!!!!!
so where i am, i will get a lot of stares 'not another biracial baby'
we both have very supportive families, except for my mother in law, who wasnt happy that im white and wants no part in our lives or our baby EVER :( heart breaking for my husband and i dont know what to do.
what is great tho, is that i am very english and my hubby LOVES being vincentian so hopefully our son will be strong willed and be open to other cultures :)
good luck with the rest of your pregnancy x
hey!! Im just about where you are :)
Im biracial. My mother is white and father black. I don't know about the struggles and joys. I suppose they are very similar to others. I just have one piece of advice for you - Make sure your child knows all about her heritage - african american side and the white side. That will be important to her!
Im having an interracial child myself because of my make up! Im biracial and his daddy is black. Im wondering myself how that will be!! :)
Good luck!
im 31 weeks and my baby will be irish from me and hungarian, italian, puerto rican and black from the dad. im curious to see what your answers will be as well. this is my second and my first is all white so im also kind of scared at how people will look upon them as siblings. it scares me a little bit. i know people will pass judgment on them but i wish they wouldn't.
Hey my story is very similar to yours. I'm 25 1/2 weeks pregnant. Im white and my baby's father is black. He's not around. I'm also having a girl. I'd love to read your other responses.

Why do people ask serious medical advice online?
I'm quite bemused by the number of people who ask really quite serious sounding medical questions online, rather than go to a doctor? Some of their symptoms would have me at the doctors so quickly - I would not ever consider asking non medical people to diagnose me online? Am I the only person who thinks this is kind of odd?Why do people ask serious medical advice online?
Because there are medical doctors on here that may can help you until you see a doctor. One just answered my question about HBP. He was a true physcian. You never know who might be there to answer. He saved me a trip to the ER.Why do people ask serious medical advice online?
think they don't want to see a doctor cause they don't want to hear the truth. they have more to pick and choose from if they ask on here.
I know what you mean. ';I'm bleeding from a gunshot wound. What should I do?';
maybe theyre bored.
Yes it's odd.

Can you help me with fashion advice for a job interview?
I'm getting my first job in the corporate world, I've always had industrial jobs that didn't really require ';fashion sense';. I'm new to this whole tie-and-collar thing as well, the outfit I'm leaning towards is a black shirt, tan slacks, black and gray striped shirt, black belt and black shoes, would this be appropriate for a job interview or what? Any advice would be awesome! Can you help me with fashion advice for a job interview?
Dress for the job above the job you want. You need a Jacket and Tie. Some nicer stores will have sales assoc to help you decide what looks best on you, tell them you are going to an interview, and for what type of job.
Blue is supposed to make people more open/attentive to what you have to say.
Red supposedly conveys power/confidence.
So you may decide to have those colors either in a shirt or tie. Not sure what shirt you have above, you mention two.
Personally, I would go grey for the suit, and blue for the shirt w a grey tie.Can you help me with fashion advice for a job interview?
Job interview for a corporate position? White or light blue button down, gray suit and a conservative tie. You want to look put together, not casual and not trendy.
I am an accountant and my husband is an attorney so we are both familiar with the corporate world. My first job out of college was going HR for corporate type of jobs. To be honest how you walk into the room give and what vibe you give off is very important.
My husband use to for job interview goes in a suit, I know it sucks but that's how it mostly goes. Make sure the suit is dark blue, black, or dark gray. The shirts should be white or maybe white with small strips, tie should be nice but not too flashy. Shoes brown or black would do same with belt but I would opt for black.
Your above selection is good for a work day, or maybe for a casual day at work (depends on the job you are doing and how everyone else dresses at work).
Here's some links so you get the idea...
Good luck with your interview...hope you get the job :)

Travelling from Canada to Florida, any advice on where to stop and what to see?
We are driving from London Ontario to Kissimmee Florida, we have our stops going but we are trying to plan our way home. We are wanting to stay relatively close to I75 but when we leave Florida we are heading to South Carolina and thought about staying in Charleston. Love the Southern homes and landscapes, but from there we aren't too sure where to travel. We have 3 days to get back to Canada after we leave Charleston. We are a family of 5, 3 kids ages 12, 9, 5. We would like to show the kids the mountains as well, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.Travelling from Canada to Florida, any advice on where to stop and what to see?
If you take the I-275 bypass south around Cincinatti, OH (instead of staying on I-75, you might stop at the Lawrenceburg exit and visit the Argosy Casino, which is pretty nice. You can then get back on I-275 and meet back up with I-75 south of Cincinnati. Lexington, Kentucky is just an hour south of where I-275 meets I-75 again, and you will find a lot of nice restaurants there, including one of my favorites ';Max %26amp; Erma's'; which features a self-serve ice-cream sunday bar. I-75 will also take you through Chattanooga, TN where they have the Chattanooga Choo-Choo, which is a lot of fun, and you actually get to ride an old-fashioned train for a tour around the historic town. South of TN you have Georgia, where you might consider stopping in at Six Flags Theme Park in Valdosta. You are going to be in Georgia for a Long time on I-75 (probably about 5-6 hours, at 65mph, with three kids), so Six Flags will give you something to look forward to just before you get to the FL border. I firmly recommend that you get off at exit 384 in Gainesville, FL (about an hour south of Georgia) and take Archer Rd east until you see the McCallister's Deli on the left. (If you've never eaten there, order the ';Nasty Spud';, it's awesome, don't let the name fool you, imagine home-made potroast ladled out over 4 open baked potatos.) Don't forget the Chili Breadbowl (it's SO good). You'll be about 2.5 hours from Kissimmee at that point. Continue south, but take the opportunity to stop in Ocala, FL at the SR-40E exit. Take SR40 east until you get to the ';Silver Springs'; nature park. They have show, alligators, glass-bottom boat rides in the Crystal Clear water of the Silver River. They also have a water park called ';Wild Waters';, which is small enough to enjoy in 4 hours, but big enough to keep you busy the whole time. The price is affordable right now as well, because they are just entering their off season. As you head back out on the interstate, take a pitstop one more exit south of 40E on SR200. Take SR200 west about a mile and stop in for coffee and bagels at the Dunkin Donuts. Get the kids some donut holes and enjoy the incredibleness that is their frozen coffee coolata. You will be close to the last leg of your trip then (the interstate splits off to the left, becoming the FL Turnpike, and then you are only about an hour away from Kissimmee).
Have a nice trip!Travelling from Canada to Florida, any advice on where to stop and what to see?
i dont know i never went there
I live in the upper peninsula of Michigan. If by some chance you get on US 2 there's some neat things here. We have Kitchitikipi Springs. It's a state park, where there's a natural spring that feeds Indian Lake. You ride a raft across the springs, they're very deep and the water is so clear. There's usually lunker trout in. We also have Fayette State Park. It's an old pig iron manufacturing village right on Lake Michigan. There's also Taquamanon Falls. Not quite Niagara, but stunning none the less. Then we also have the Mackinac Bridge, linking the upper to the lower. Quite the experience driving over. It's 5 miles long and 552 feet up. A ferry ride over to the Island. It's a nice day event. They have a butterfly house, with butterflies from all over the world. And of course, the fort. The eastern UP is full of things to entertain you.
skip St. Augustine I live there

I Feel bad about leaving my kids to go for a weekend getaway. Any advice?
I have a 2 and 4 year old and am planning a 4 day 3 night trip with my husband to get away before baby number 3 arrives (I'm 3 months pregnant). I'm leaving them with their grandmother. I feel so bad for them cause they'll miss mommy and daddy. I've never left them for this long. I'm afraid I won't have fun because I'll be worried and missing them BUT... I really need this break and I haven't been on a vacation for many years. Any advice to ease the pain of leaving them? Thanks.I Feel bad about leaving my kids to go for a weekend getaway. Any advice?
Honey, I could go on all day! I understand how you feel, b/c I have 4 kids myself! Only...we are not fortunate enough for them to have great grandparents that love to spend time with them, so our getaways are way to few and far between! I DREAM of going on a weekend break w/out my children,..and yes, I feel bad about those thoughts sometimes, but hey, I never saw a rulebook that said just because you have kids, you don't deserve a life anymore!!!! You are a person, and are worthy of enjoying time with your husband and time alone to pamper yourself! And the fact that you are a mom, makes you even MORE worthy of those things than a childless woman. Afterall, a happy mommy makes a better mommy! :) (much better than an over-stressed one). so relax and enjoy it while you can!I Feel bad about leaving my kids to go for a weekend getaway. Any advice?
Don't worry they will still love you no matter what. Go and have fun with your husband. I was the same way for the first year my daughter was born, But at the same time it's feels good to leave them with a love one, which you are. You will thank me for telling you to go on this trip. Also to make your self feel better call them at least once or twice a day just to see how things are going and make sure one of those calls are at night so that you can read to them or at least hear them say good night to you. GO AND HAVE FUN YOU WON'T REGRET THIS. : - )
You are basing your guilt on the assumption that while this is a fun trip away for you and your husband, it will not be a fun time for your children. Essentially you are planning to be miserable, and assuming they will be miserable also.
If you change your perspective to be that EVERYONE is going on a holiday, just not to the same place, it'll be more fun. When my children were little I remarried, and my husband and I wanted a honeymoon without kids. So we arranged ';mini-holidays'; for each of them, and went on ours. They LOVED it!
My suggestion is that rather than viewing this trip as YOUR chance to get away, spend time with your little ones listing off all the things THEY could choose to do with grandma. What things do they get to eat at grandma's that they don't at home? Where can they go for an outing? Where will they sleep? What special snuggle-toy are they taking? Wrap your mind and theirs around this being a holiday for THEM before the new baby comes, and you'll be able to leave knowing they're having the time of thier lives.
Then you need to remember that giving your children new and exciting experiences is not something to be guilty about - it is something to be proud of, and it's what parenting is all about. Even tiny little birds have wings and teaching them at a young age that they can spread their wings a little and you'll cheer them on is a great thing. They'll be talking about their big adventure for a long time to come, and will learn that they can be apart from you, have fun, and come home and tell you about it without feeling guilty that they had fun without you.
Have a great time.
You are leaving them with their grandmother......somebody they know and love.....and above all someone you know you can trust. GO and ENJOY yourself. Have a great time and come back refreshed and recharged and ready to be a better mommy than ever before.
Enjoy your vacation! Just keep it in your mind that your taking a break to come back a refreshed and rejuvenated mommy! Most likely they will be having tons of fun with grandma as well.
I have left my kids for the weekend before and was worried about this too. They are little also. They had more fun than I did. Grandma always spoils them. They will have a vacation too. Of course they did have times where they cried and wanted mommy. We talked to them on the phone and told them we would all go out to dinner when we got home. This celebrated them being great for grandma and us being back together as a family. Everything will be great- don't show them you are worried, show them that you are exited to let them have a vacation with grandma.
The only advice I can give is to talk to them and explain that you will be back. The 2 y/o prob won't miss you too much, but the 4 y/o might miss you and be afraid to let you out of their sight for a couple of days upon return.
Look...here is an opportunity to put your attention on your number 1 and number 2 concern....First you have to take care of yourself so you can be the mother and wife that you should be...Second...your husband should come before your children (but you know that rarely happens...how can it with 2 little ones on your hip)...So leave the guilt trip and enjoy and reconnect with your husband...He so needs this time with you and so do you...it will make a happier more connected marriage...your children will survive...and be better for it with a rejuvinated mommy...Wearing the guilt as a badge of honor to show what a good mommy you are...is a waste of time and energy. Have a great time!
they will be fine, my parents left my sister and i every single year on their anniversary for a weekend.
tell them that you will have some special time with them when you get back.
its okay. every parent needs a break from their kids sometimes. Just remember you are doing this for you and your husband. You both love your kids but you both need some alone time once and awhile. Once you get their you will have a good time.
Leave small gifts from mom and dad. Even small notes saying mommy and daddy love you and miss you. Grandma can give them out when she feels it's needed. Or if they are staying at your house, hide them where they will find them. I'm talking Dollar store toys or books. You can always call from where you are to say goodnight to them. Remind yourself, you have to take care of you first before you are good to them. You will miss them, all parents do, but when you come home, you'll be refreshed and excited to see them. I'm mom to 3 and have used these things when my kids and I were separated.
Try to realize that having a happy, adjusted marriage is crucial to your children's happiness. It is so easy to put the marriage on the back burner, but it's a huge mistake. You two were a couple before you had the kids and it's essential you stay a couple once the kids start arriving.
Try to enjoy your vacation break because you're probably not going to have another in a long, long time. If you are 100% confident that your children are being well cared for, STOP WORRYING. Children are as blessed by their grandparents, as grandparents are as blessed by their grand-kids.
Just remember this: They'd be happy to leave you and go on vacation without you.
So go have some fun. They wont die, and they wont forget about you. So go have some fun!!!
Been there, know the feeling. After a long stint w/o a vacation, I was ready for one. The wife was ready for one, but had a hard time leaving the kids for a few days...so, she did not enjoy herself...neither did I.
You see the kids every day and they know you love them. You will have a hard time leaving, but you need to. You owe it to yourself for some personal time. A half hour after your gone, if the kids are kept occupied, it will make it easier on them. Calling only reinforces what they mean to you.
BOTTOM LINE: If you can't leave them for 3-4 days for some personal time, without worrying about them constantly, then don't go. You and your husband will be miserable for 3-4 days if all you do is think about the kids 鈥?THINK ABOUT EACH OTHER. You may as well just stay home and imagine a pretend vactation.
Go, sleep in and catch up on some of the things you and your husband have probably overlooked for some time 鈥?intimacy without interruption :)
don't worry. you're leaving them with their grandma, so you know they'll be in good hands and they'll be with someone they're already farmiliar with them. take a break and relax. enjoy your trip.

Can anyone give me info or advice on lemon detox diet?
Im just about to start it. Any info or pointers? It would be great to here your experiences! Can anyone give me info or advice on lemon detox diet?
Here's some advice: Don't do it.
The body naturally detoxes all the time. That's why we drink water and eat fiber. This whole new craze is going to be around another year and it will disappear once people stop buying the product. Remember how 'In the News' Adkins was? That's the same thing. It's simply a way to get your money away from you with promises of making you feel better.
Some problems with the Detox Diet
1. You're not eating food. You need to eat food to help your body continually function at it's highest level. If you stop eating food, you can't repair your muscles, your organs aren't as highly functional, and you feel like crap.
2. It HURTS. Being hungry is painful and irritating. If you fast for religion, that's okay, but doing it to 'cleanse' yourself is something else. When I was 5 years old, I learned to NOT touch the stove because it hurt. Pain means something is not working for your body. If you hurt because you haven't eaten in a day or two, you need to change things.
3. Do you really want to slow down your metabolism? Your body will go off-kilter if you stop eating. And what is this with lemons and cayanne? They picked two arbitrary items to eat and ran with it. It sounds like Scientologists flying in DC-10s or whatever.
People say they do feel good after a detox, but that's because they're finally drinking enough water. With all the sodas, juices, coffees, and beers out there, you're dehydrated. That's the only thing that's wrong with you.
If you simply add more water to your daily intake and you avoid fast food and fried food and too much candy, you'll feel 100 times better. Trust me.Can anyone give me info or advice on lemon detox diet?
The body has miraculous powers to cleanse itself. Unfortunately much of what we consume in the western world has limited nutritional value. Numerous chemicals and toxins are introduced into environment everyday and find their way into our bodies through the air we breathe, the water we drink and the food we eat. The Lemon Detox lets the body cleanse itself naturally while you take a break from solid food.
The Detox Drink
To make one glass of Natural Tree Syrup and Lemon Drink take
*
Two small tablespoons (or 20 ml) of Madal Bal Natural Tree Syrup.
*
Two tablespoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice (about half a lemon). Use fresh lemons, not lemon drink or concentrate.
*
Half a pinch of cayenne pepper or ginger (adjust to taste).
Mix the ingredients and dilute with half a pint of hot or cold water.
Drink as much as you like, ideally 6 to 9 glasses a day.
The main challenge of the programme is mental. Because we are accustomed to eating whenever we feel like it, the discipline of not taking any solid food can seem a bit daunting. Eating has become a habit and like any other habits it's not so easy to break, even temporarily. It is often very tempting to cheat during the detox. Don't give in to temptation. Stick to it! Be strong! When you experience hunger simply treat yourself to another Natural Tree Syrup and Lemon Drink. Keep thinking of all the benefits you will achieve when you have finished the Lemon Detox Diet and can enjoy solid food again.

Need to put my car on a train from cape town to jozi. Any advice or previous experience?
Anyone done this before? Names of companies who can do this and what the service was like?Need to put my car on a train from cape town to jozi. Any advice or previous experience?
I personally would be very scared to do this.
Why don't you consider driving the car down from Cape Town to Jozi? If you find the drive too long, you could stop overnight in one of the towns along the route- we have previously stopped over at Beaufort West.Need to put my car on a train from cape town to jozi. Any advice or previous experience?
There is only ONE company that can do it - Spoornet. The service level will be somewhere between indifferent and utterly crap, as is normal with state owned monopolies.
What have you got against using a trucking company?
With trucking you have a choice of hundreds of companies. Competition is good for customer service.
I know that if you take the Shozaloza Meyl Premier Classe, they will allow you to take your car . A one way ticket costs around R1800.facial treatment

How do you deal with a toothache at home? I have no time to go to the dentist because I am a teacher.. Advice?
I am a teacher and has no time to go to the dentist? What should I do??How do you deal with a toothache at home? I have no time to go to the dentist because I am a teacher.. Advice?
While you can take over the counter toothache medicine to numb the tooth, however, if you are unable or do not wish to do it you can try this...
Rub ice between your thumb and index finger. Believe it or not, the nerve that carries pain signals from your face to your brain passes through that point. Studies show that icing it cuts toothache discomfort in half. How do you deal with a toothache at home? I have no time to go to the dentist because I am a teacher.. Advice?
Another busy teacher.... too busy to look after your own health??? Pathetic....
The dentist is open after school hours so if your that 'busy' then book an appointment then!
Teachers are all the same.... always stressed....too busy to do anything!!
Get a different profession if it's an issue...
p.s. you have time to post this and probably read all the answers (all time which could have been spent going to the dentist)
I'm a teacher. That's why they have subs. Take a day off and go see a dentist. But seriously, you could try just taking some tylenol, in addition to the orajel recommended by the first person who answered the question.
Use a product like ';Ora Jel'; or try clove oil. Make an appointment after school hours.

I am starting to think that vaccinations are keeping my daughter sick constantly. Any advice, ideas?
My 4 1/2 year old hasn't been vaccinated for 2 1/2 years (doc office lost her shot record) and she has never been sick since. My 15 month old is up to date and has been sick constantly the last few months.I am starting to think that vaccinations are keeping my daughter sick constantly. Any advice, ideas?
Some people would claim that vaccines do actually harm the child's immune system, causing vaccinated children to get sick more often than non-vaccinated children. My neice is not vaccinated and has never been sick once (15 months). Every child is different, but I would do some research on the pros and cons of vaccinations and of not vaccinating. You could start at mothering.com-great website.I am starting to think that vaccinations are keeping my daughter sick constantly. Any advice, ideas?
It can absolutely be the vaccines, the immune system isn't fully developed at this age (really not until after about age 6 at the earliest) so vaccines and the toxic ingredients they use to stabilize and preserve them can definitely make people, especially children, more susceptible to common bugs. Try boosting your kids' immune systems by not feeding them any refined sugars, and especially not high fructose corn syrup (stick to natural stuff like honey, maple syrup, stevia, agave nectar, concentrated fruit juices or evaporated cane juice to sweeten things), feeding plenty of fruits and veggies, and supplementing with vitamin C and Garlic Oil. Stay away from processed foods - if you don't recognize an ingredient and know exactly what it is, don't give it too them, and opt for whole grains over stuff made with white flour. You can also consult a naturopath or naturopathic physician about some other ways to boost immunity.
I don't think it has anything to do with getting shots or not getting them. The 15 month old is more susceptible to viruses, cold, sickness right now. Personally, I would get the 4 1/2 year old caught up on her shots or you'll be dealing with 2 sick children.
You should be a little more persistant about those shot records! They're in there somewhere and the staff needs to find them. I've heard of that happening to several people, and the records did turn up, with a lot of nagging from mom.
Your doctor should be able to tell if yur baby is just regular sick or sick from the vaccinations. It's possible, but rare.

I am really interested in becoming a lawyer but not really in litigation. any advice as to which specialty?
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, even if it is to say how unrealistic my question is. Thanks.I am really interested in becoming a lawyer but not really in litigation. any advice as to which specialty?
My BIL followed in his dad's footsteps and went into real estate law. His dad used to be a city attorney for a large city in the Northeast.
You could also do family law; elder law; anything not criminal-related.I am really interested in becoming a lawyer but not really in litigation. any advice as to which specialty?
When you go to law school, you will complete the 3 years like everyone else - you can choose electives in areas you are interested in, but law school differs from medical school in that when a doctor graduates from medical school, he go for further schooling in his specialty - a lawyer cannot - he or she will get her education in their chosen field by getting a job at a firm and learning as you go - the way to pick a specialty is to first decide what you are interested in - corporate law, tax law, immigration, estate planning and elder law (likes to help people get affairs in order), personal injury law, environmental law (protects environmental issues), government law (schools, city, county, etc), entertainment law, lemon law, civil rights, health care law and real estate law. So much to pick from - maybe you can get a good idea by interning at a couple of firms over the summer or spring break - hands on! Good Luck
I know a lawyer who only does work for companies that want to go public and sell shares and the stock market. He forgot so much of what he learned about other law that he wouldn't know how to argue his way out of a parking ticket anymore. But he's really good at helping companies go public.
Real estate law, tax law, estate planning - there are many areas.
There are patent, contract, corporate, entertainment, family law and many other type lawyers. Attorney's are like doctors - they have specialities. Just decide figure out your interests and follow your dream on becoming an attorney!
Good luck!

I need advice on how to break up a 5 page paper on Thomas Jefferson into three sections.?
I need to write a 5 page paper on Thomas Jefferson. The format is not a biography style. So far I've come up with breaking the paper into these three categories:
-Political life
-Philosophical life
-Religous life
I would appreciate if you can come up with something else or if you think this is a good divider. BTW its a college paper. Thank you.I need advice on how to break up a 5 page paper on Thomas Jefferson into three sections.?

I want to start an anti-bullying campaign, any advice on where to start?
I have a big family and in the space of two days, two of my sisters became victims of bullying and now they don't want to go to school and my brother has been bullied before in the past.
I want to do something about it but we've already tried most things and nothing seems to work.
What can i do to make a real difference here?I want to start an anti-bullying campaign, any advice on where to start?
You can start a website, you can also find other people in your age group that are intereted in joining your campaign. I would tell people around your neighborhood and in the schools about what you are trying to do. Also, if your schools are nice enough, maybe you should talk to some of them and see how they would feel about getting public speakers to talk about bullying to the children. You could then search for public speakers on this topic and ask them to come to your schools or you can do the public speaking yourself. You can ask the school coaches if you can inform their athletes, there are so many things you can do.....be creative.......I think you have a real good idea and I love your question. Have a great night!I want to start an anti-bullying campaign, any advice on where to start?
first you need to rally parents that have kids that are being bullied as well then you need to organize an asociation with these parents to pass out fliers around the neighborhood about bullying and when your issue gets popular enough then your point will get across to schools and the city council .
aww you wanna do what i'm doing. nice
well first you can try to post up posters in the school hallways, you can get them for free from kidshelpphone.ca. Then maybe you can get stats about bullying read on your announcements. After that you can try to organize a contest where students submit either videos, music, posters or poems about bullying. And then meybe you should go around to certain classrooms and do a presentation in front of them about bullying (or you could do the whole school in an assembly)
Get her started on martial arts like krav maga

or ninjitsu as in ninjas.
train them to fight not just to punch and kick but to be strategic, look for weak points, to be sneaky and underhand, how not to freeze up (important) and not take crap...
This will sound strange but rent out the movie
Cool Runnings
And you want to watch it and look for a scene where the ggood too shoes team member is being bullied and the tough one takeds him into the toilet and asks him what he sees
soft guy says'Junior'
tough guy says ' No I see a bad *** motha who dont take no **** from nobody.... no you say it'
Soft guy says it weakly...
tough guy says no say it like you mean it...
and again
and again getting him, fired up, angry, aggressive, wild,
then tough guy drags him back fired up to demand an apolgy from the bullies... no fear... all anger
fight ensues and the kid gives it some gain ing confidence and respect...
With only the technical lessons he would not have the heart to do it.
You need the pyschology as well.
Also to get the kid to be able to hit back hard and not hold back ie grab hair and smack head into desk.
Krav maga by the way is the base for the buffy the vampire slayer series and the martial art of the isreali army, and specail forces MOSSAD and the FBI.
go with your brothers and sisters to school and tell the bullys to stop ( if you are older than them) and also try putting student council to help you. They'll make it so that it will be a serious school issue. write and persuasive essay. write a letter. tell some high officals ( if things got really out of hand)
threaten the kids (with your brothers) that are bullying your sisters, try hate before peace.
Bullying in any form is not to be tolerate the 1st step that needs to be taken before you set anything up and that's for your sisters and brother to tell the school whats going on and everything that is said needs to be put into writing , if its in writing the school has to deal with, found out what there bullying policy is and how they are implement it. After that you can make a site where kids who are being bully can go and write about what has happen to them ,but you must also need to give them advise on what to do...or it can just be where they can talk to others .. if you try doing it in the school the head may ask you to leave but then again you could found out who the parent govern is and get there help. good luck ( my son was bullied at his school and the head was useless)
Ask your principal if you can put signs up in the halls stating No bullying will be tolerated. Then as if you can also put on it that bullies will be reported and handled in the principals office. Put different and neat signs up'; saying this is a no bully school,'; ';no bullying,';bullying will be reported'; I hate when kids bully others and I think the schools should do something about it. If the kids continue bullying your family members go to the police.
Ask Princess Mary - she's in the news at the moment for implementing a program they have in Melbourne.
I don't know how? but good for you we need more people like you. try asking your local council. would be nice to know where you live. In our village the kids are been bullied by the Headteacher, she shouts terrible at the kids the infant class kids 4yr olds cover their ears. the governors wont listen, the parents are afraid to say something then she will bully the child.
I think this is fantastic,You could start an anti bullying website. We would be the first to join.Kids bully over the most stupid stuff. Most schools focus on bullying. Our school held anti bullying lessons last year. Please feel free to email me.
Go to a prison and do some articles on what happens to the hard core bullies. Then do the same in a business or University and talk to the ones who were bullied. Try and get some people who regret what they did to talk at the school and describe how there lives turned out. I was bullied at school but most of the people who used to bully me are or have been in prison.
Their school should by law have an anti-bullying policy, and if not ask why, your sisters must tell the school what is going on they might feel it will be grassing or snitching but it isn't bullying is very wrong, I know lots of schools have the attitude of.';Oh bullying doesn't happen at this school,or bullying helps to build character'; Bullying does go on and it destroys character. Its time parents started getting tough with schools/teachers/and school governors who just ignore of what is happening in their schools.
If your sisters are walking to and from school, get them to take a different route and with a group of friends if on the bus they should sit near th driver, they should ignore the bullies taunts because the bully wants them to react back. If they have to confront the bully they should use their wit/brains,using their fists is only lowering them self's to the bullies level.
Go to their school and your parents should go to and ask the school firmly what are they going it,are your parents part of the P.T.A? do you known some ones parents who are may be you could ask them to bring up that an anti-bullying campaign is needed and its important, have a list of the reasons why one is needed and the benefits it will have,in their next meeting.
There is a board game called';NO MORE BULLIES'; ,that I use with the children who I work with at an out of school which helps children on what to do and how to cope with bullying.and there are books on the subject.
I was a victim to bullies right through my high school years, and because of it my self-esteem has been smashed into a millions of pieces don't let your sisters suffer in silence, unless we all start getting tough to putting a full stop to bullying what sort of future do we all have?
I really hope everything will turn out for your family.

Seriously...there are less bullys than kids that are being bullied..rally up all the not bullies and turn it around, bullies suck and they need to be addressed...some of the administration at school is going to help, but your best bet is to rally all the picked upons and united, you can get it done...good luck.

One of my dogs had died. The other is completely lost without her. Does anyone have any advice?
The one that is left is a 3 year old Jack Russell Cross, that already has lonelyness anxiety issues. One of my dogs had died. The other is completely lost without her. Does anyone have any advice?
aww bless..i would say to keep a blanket smelling of your old dog in her basket and baby get another dog? i know that may sound insenstive and i dont mean it to..its just this dog is still younge and may want a playmate. One of my dogs had died. The other is completely lost without her. Does anyone have any advice?
might want to consider getting another dog, the Jack may love it immediately or it may take time, but it will work
or
you can take the Jack to the dog park, daycare or lots of walks to keep his mind off of it
Just try giving the other dog a lot of attention and baby the other dog a little more. Pets that interact with each other a lot are usually very stricken by losing their buddy. You may think about getting another pet if the other dog doesn't respond to babying.
I had the same problem last year when one of my westies died , didnt want to get another dog as i couldnt bare the heartache , so i got a kitten ( living on a farm they are useful for keeping the mice down) , the kitten thought of my dog ';Bobby'; as its mother , they are best friends now lol x
I don't know what you mean by loneliness issues, is the dog left alone, by you, for long periods? You should definitely give her lots of attention at the moment and also get another puppy as company since he/she has been used to having another dog around. At 3 years old your dog will readily accept another puppy.
The same thing just happened to me just before christmas. The thing that worked with my dog was keeping her active and showing lots of affection. Keep talking to her/him. If this still doesn't work maybe consider buying another dog.
All it needs is time and some love. It is not used to not having a buddy. Just give it a little time to understand it better and to get over the loss.
i would try to get another dog or a puppy
Take your time and play with the dog.
If the dog spends a lot of time alone (you are away from home) I think the best Idea would be to get a new dog. Go to a shelter and adopt a dog. A pup would mean a lot of work but a grown dog should probably fit in. Take your dog to the shelter maybe he will find the right friend to bring home. Or if he likes cats, try to get one.
yeah, my english springer spaniel won't eat when shes away from my lab,
my 2 dogs r totally dependent on each other, if 1 were to die i'd get a puppy that looked and acted like the previes dog.
so replace ur dead dog with a new one that has the same persanlity trates.
sorry 4 my spelling =\
get a new puppy, make sure you have ime right off the bat to watch them though cause the old dog might be a little hesitant on having a new baby added to the ';family';
I'm sorry, what I did when my girl passed and my jack was just so lost. I washed all the doggie beds to try to get some of the smell gone (they both slept together) got new toys and played more with her. After about a week she go better, it just takes time like with us. She'll be okay as we do, some how some way.
This happened to my dogs. It was very sad. The other dog would not eat at all! Three days latter it died. So my advise is play with it all you can make sure it eats right, I might try to buy another dog in a week.
I am truly sorry for your loss and I know you can never replace the dog that has died, but for the sake of the other little dog, you should consider getting a younger dog to keep it company - especially if it is already experiencing anxiety issues.
Your dog should not feel threatened by a smaller, younger dog and, if you introduce them to each other gradually they should be fine.
I have 2 little dogs. One was in the vet's for over a week and the other one went off her food and was utterly miserable until her pal came home.
I wish you and your dog well, in your time of great loss.
EDIT
I came across this link on another answer here. It is about the loss of a beloved animal. It made me cry but it was so beautiful I thought I would pass it on to you.

Who has the best finance internship program? What are the requirements? How do I apply? Any inside advice?
I am looking for an internship where I will be involved, where I can learn, and not be a file clerk. I am looking for an established program that has a good reputation. Any advice would be great. Thanks.Who has the best finance internship program? What are the requirements? How do I apply? Any inside advice?
I was an intern at Russell Investment Group. I would recommend any Investment Bank because the work load is HEAVY and you can see if you even like fiannce anymore.

I recently discovered I have a crush on my vet who is twenty years younger than me. Any advice?
Recently I've discovered I have a crush on my vet. We are both married to separate people %26amp; have children. I feel a bit awkward now when I see him when I have to bring my pets in for their checkup. Can he tell if I like him or not? Can I still be friends with him? Of course, I would never do anything to break up someonesmarriage. But I was wondering what it would be like if he was added on Facebook, for example. He's such a nice person.I recently discovered I have a crush on my vet who is twenty years younger than me. Any advice?
Leave him be. Don't be a homewrecker. It's just a silly crush, harmless as long as you don't act on it or take it seriously. If you are having these feelings, I would not suggest friendship. As far as him being able to tell, who knows? You shouldn't be throwing yourself out there or flirting, though, especially not as a grown woman with a husband and kids.I recently discovered I have a crush on my vet who is twenty years younger than me. Any advice?
As a married person why would you even allow your mind to wonder like that? Do you not respect the fact that both you and he are married? Go ahead and ask your husband what he would do in this situation and see how crazy he looks at you across your damn head. Why would you want to hurt him like that. Go ahead and add him to facebook, or see the look on his face when he rejects you. Not everyone is interested in not being faithful to their husband or wife. I am not judging but I am so tired of people not taking their marriage seriously. If I found out my huband was doing some **** like that I would slap the **** out of him and put his *** out. You don't do that to people that love you. You just simply don't. I am sorry but this upsets me. Do what you think is best if you don't value your marriage. You have to live with the outcome not anyone else.
Don't add him, don't go there, one step can ruin 2 peoples lives, and not yours or his, but the people that really love you. Respect him, and respect your family. I know you might feel this urge, i know, but fight it, your family means more, and believe me, he wouldn't want you to add him, it be very ackward. Your husband deserves that respect, and he has a wife he loves. So no, don't add him.
well sammy tobe honest you need to forget that just think about it.
if you were able to hook up with this man when he turned 50
you would either be in a wheal chair are on a walker. so my advise

Find another vet. You're both married for crying out loud and you don't even know if he has feelings for you. Snap out of it.
Get a new vet.
Skip the facebook.
Change the vet NOT your family!
Just please don't hurt your dog as an excuse to go see him..other than that.. remember you are married, and so is he.
Are you a guy or a girl? You don't mention that.
So no, don't add him.
well sammy tobe honest you need to forget that just think about it.
if you were able to hook up with this man when he turned 50
you would either be in a wheal chair are on a walker. so my advise
would be keep all your love at home with your husband and grow old together

Write.
Don't be critical of yourself.
Don't judge yourself.
Edit.
ALWAYS be proffesional.
Write.
Don't edit.....Heh. You re-read that, didn't you. Edit, but not until you've completed your novel from cover to cover.
Edit.

Don't give out your writing.
Use proper grammar.
Be describtive, but remember I have a brain.
