It is a new company. I'll be interviewed by the business developement manager or the managing director. I wish to study business management but don't know much about it. If I was asked about that, what should I consider as applicable answers?I have an interview for Event Sales and Marketing Trainee, what specific advice could you give me?
Don't ';prepare'; any answers. The interviewer has heard all the prepared answers 1,000 times. Answer from your heart. Take a second to think about the question, then answer. If you don't know, don't guess.
A new company will be struggling to squeeze into a crowded field. Be sure that you also apply at all the existing companies, too. They will have business for you on your first day. A new company won't have anything for you to do. That is why they are so concerned about ';entrepreneurial'; ability. They are looking to you to drum up business and that is really hard.I have an interview for Event Sales and Marketing Trainee, what specific advice could you give me?
You need to prepare for your interview in advance. Make sure you know exactly what they do and what they require in the candidate.
For this role, you need to have sound communication skills, so speak clearly. You may also be asked to conduct a presentation on something, so make sure you sharpen your presentation skills.
They may ask you to give them an example of a scenario where you are involved in a specific exhibition event so again, make sure you prepare for that.
In all fairness, it is a trainee position, so I don't think they will try and catch you out with difficult questions, you just need to show willingness for the role and that you are flexible in where you work and that you have the assertiveness to do the job.
Good luck

hi, during the interview, they are not testing what u did, they test what you can do. U need to appear in the interview as a lively bubbling young person with lot of energy. Ur eye movements, the body language should speak that you have commitment within you. That is more than enough.
