Im 17 and I wanna start to bulk up and just start living a healthier life, and have a healthier body. Anyone got advice on what i should eat daily. How many calories I should take in for a day? What are good exercises for me?Any advice for a healthier way of eating and exercise?
The amount of calories that you should eat in one day at your age is 2000-2500. Also what food are good to eat everyday so you don't gain a lot of weigh is green leafy vegetables. They are really good for people to eat. Also visit a organic food market, you will find everyday food product with out all the added chemicals and the food has a lot less calories.Any advice for a healthier way of eating and exercise?
It depends on your weight %26amp; your medical history, it would be better to consult a physician for your diet %26amp; daily exercise.
If you want to bulk up, you need to eat lots of protein. But meat protein is high in purines which can cause gout in the long run. What you need is plant protein isolate. It means that the factor that causes gout or the likes was already isolated.
As for calories per day, tell me your height and weight so I can compute the energy balance equation for you. There is what we call metabolic resting rate meaning even at rest, we burn calories.
Good exercise? All exercise is good and beneficial to our bodies. What I think you should consider is what do you love doing best to make it fun for you so it wouldn't feel like a drag. Like me for instance, I love dancing so I joined a hiphop / dance class. It's fun and it doesn't feel like ';exercise'; (the bad connotation on exercise).
